Located in the backstreets of Fitzroy, Melbourne. The Standard Hotel brings you the best pub food, wines & cold beers that Fitzroy has to offer.

Reservations:

-The maximum booking size is 20 people. If you would like a larger booking, please give us a call or e-mail to discuss. (03) 9419 4793 or bookings@thestandardhotel.com.au

-If you wish to make a booking on the same day, please give us a call and we will see if we can fit you in. We don’t accept same-day online bookings.

-Please note, we don’t take bookings outside after 5 pm Monday-Friday and after 3 pm Saturday, Sunday.

-We will not accommodate Bucks/Hens parties or Pub Crawls.

What a pub, the best in Melbourne in my opinion. I recommend everyone to visit this brilliant establishment.

Attended with a large group, and were seated outside in the beer garden, on a lovely sunny day. Food is pub food, but done very well. Parmas' are a go to! Great attentative staff. With the great weather, the ambiance was wonderful in the beer garden, with plenty of laughter

We have dined at The Standard a number of times and have always found the food to be first rate. On top of that the ambience is good, although it can get quite noisy when it's crowded. Overall, a pleasant experience if you're after a decent pub meal in an unreconstructed inner city hotel.

What a great suburban pub. It was my first time there and loved it. The food, atmosphere, everything was great. Will definitely go back.

Great evening thanks. Had the best seat in the house next to the fire. The staff were relaxed efficient and helpful. The food timely and up to your best. We had a fun time and enjoyed your ambiance and the gentle atmosphere

This pub is consistently good. Staff, food, drinks all excellent — and have been this way for years. I'm reluctant to write this because it's like letting the cat out... but we really do appreciate the place and the people.
