Nicole was our server and very professional and nice. Too many delicious choices! See you in about 3 weeks with some family. Patio was perfect!

We have said it before and we will say it again, The Standard lives up to its namesake! What a pleasure it is to dine at a place that cares as much about the preparations of food and environment as well as they do hospitality and kindness. We are grateful and blessed. Excellent foodie experience . The lamb shank with mushroom risotto and beet salad were stellar. The staff was friendly and helpful. A true gem!

Great server, great food. Teo of us had the chicken tagine. Ti was delicious but should be served with rice.

Was amazing!!! The short rib meal was one of the best meals I ever had. The standard cocktail was delicious. A little pricy but Would definitely go back for a special occasion.

Why did it take us so long to find this fabulous restaurant? We dined, yes, dined there last night, and it was fabulous! Starting with the staff. We received a very warm welcome from the owner and the reservation desk staff. We were seated promptly and our server, Nicole, came to the table with water and menus. Our table was right near the beautiful, open kitchen and was very cozy, with a great view of the hustle and bustle. And yet, it wasn't loud. Great music playing, also not loud. Nicole told us about the specials, yummy, but I knew what I wanted. Mercifully, unlike some restaurants, she did not quote the price of the specials. We both hate when wait staff does if you want the special, price should not deter you ( sorry, opinion there). The food. I had the Beet Tartar salad as a starter. Delicately diced beets, goat cheese, and pistachios in a wonderful dressing. It was large; with their wonderful crusty rolls, and a glass of wine, it could easily be a light lunch. Then, the bouillabaisse-a fabulous, saffron broth with the delicate briny taste of lobster tails, jumbo shrimp, clams, mussels, fingerling potatoes, and bits of cherry tomatoes and fennel. The bowl was served steaming hot and full! I brought some home since I was feeling stuffed. My husband had the filet with fingerling potatoes and broccolini- he liked his dinner as much as I did. We both felt this was the finest food we've eaten in a long time. Coupled with the ambiance and the staff, this was a superb evening. Unfortunately, we had no room for dessert, though the baklava was tempting. Next time! So, will we return? Most definitely! Will I order the same thing, probably not since there are several other menu choices such as paella, cioppino, and pasta bolognese that I would like to try! This restaurant should be "The Standard" for all other high end restaurants in Cleveland. ( Sorry, I couldn't resist!) Go, you will not be sorry. Parking is on the street!
