The Thai food at the stag was ok. The “tradional Thai dessert” was no more than canned fruit. It was the only dessert on offer. The buffet itself was good. The lack of disabled toilets made it difficult to spend a large amount of time in the Establishment. Wheelchair users will find it difficult to enter the building without assistance.

The staff, food and service were excellent. Our only problem was a family behind us with a young daughter who was very loud at times and very badly behaved. Nothing seemed to be done to manage the child's behaviour. The setting is excellent and there is good parking in the car park and also on the road outside the pub. I would definitely go here again and the behaviour of guests is not something the staff have to deal with as the parents should be in charge.

Lovely venue let down by poor service and uninspired food, we arrived slightly early and had to wait for out table, we sat outside and no one came to get us when out table was ready if you are not local i feel you are slightly ignored We were then out in a back room and service was very slow ordered the crispy duck but it was not crispy at all and the hoi sin sauce was horrible no flavour at all and was obviously watered down

Very good food. The lamb dish was particularly good. Service was both friendly and professional. Would recommend restaurant to all.

First visit to The Stag for the all you can eat Thai. Plenty of lovely piping hot freshly made food for a very reasonable price

We waited a long time to be served and for our food to come out. The food was nice and staff were friendly, felt like they should have had more staff on though.

Friendly and helpful service, lovely environment, good menu and food at fair prices. I went on a Monday lunchtime, so was expecting it to be quiet and it was. Certainly recommend.

Can't fault the stag since Lester and katie have been proprietors this beautiful bar / restaurant has really taken off , the foods always amazing , fab selection on drinks including Jeremy Clarkson Hawkstone cider and larger . They have regular entertainment in the garden area a little gem of a place .

Absolutely superb food. We both had Sunday lunch and the portion was huge but so beautifully cooked and presented. Very very highly recommend. The staff were friendly the restaurant was very clean and the decor was beautiful and in-keeping with its surroundings. Would definitely go again for a meal
