The Squire at Branches is a full-service restaurant and bar nestled in beautiful West Long Branch. This hidden Gem has gone through a major renovation, with an expansive bar, a beautifully-crafted wine room, and a gas-burning fire place. The electric menu was created by Chef Cliff Richardson; a culinary prodigy whose passion has taken him around the world. Experienced in Caribbean, French, Italian and American cuisine. Chef Richardson worked his way through the ranks at the Malliouhana Hotel under the leadership of Michelin Star Chef Michelle Rostang in Paris.

The Squire is best known for their Surf & Turf Board- 32oz (CAB) Porterhouse Steak, 2 (6oz) Cold Water Lobster Tails, Pan Seared Dry Diver Scallops & Jumbo Shrimp accompanied with your choice of sides.

This was our 3rd visit to The Squire and it was just as good as the first two. The servers are very friendly, there is a little bit of everything on the menu and the food is delicious. This time we tried dessert and it was equally as good. We'll add to our list of favorites in the area.

Great dinner and service. Jesus was wonderful and very attentive & best octopus we’ve had in a very long time :-). We will be returning!

Great food, friendly atmosphere, incredible service. My wife and I went for an early dinner last night and had a perfect experience. Our servers name was Corey aka the Gold Standard, the best waiter ever. The next time we are in town, we will be back.

I was so pleased with this place . My first time and everything was excellent!!! Can’t say more good things about it . Not only was the food delicious the portions were generous the service was on point and to top it off the restroom was beautiful clean and well lit . I highly recommend this place !!!!

Went for Prine Rib night. Food was outstanding! Service started out slow but greatly improved. We definitely plan on going back soon.

Quiet Sunday evening. Vibe was of an upscale eatery yet people were dressed extremely casually, sweats, flip flops, t shirts. Food very good but not in line with prices. Veal chop Milanese a bit tough and fatty, eggplant rolatini over "cheesed" to the point of having to search for the very small eggplant portions. Wait staff exceptionally sweet, but inexperienced. Of note, the entrance to the restaurant is difficult to find for first timers, requiring a walk through large, uncovered courtyard. There was a bad rainstorm on our arrival, that lasted 45 minutes. The long distance to the door, without a covered walk, required us to wait 45 minutes in our car before we could enter the restaurant.

I had the shrimp scampi and it was delicious. Five very big shrimp, cooked perfectly on a very well seasoned pasta. We all enjoyed the bread basket - I loved the olive focaccia with my summer sangria. The rest of our party had the prime rib - every one enjoyed the meat. Cooked perfect to each one’s request.

Went for Lobster Night with my family and had an incredible experience. Our waiter, Cory, was outstanding. Couple of us got the 2lb lobster, perfect! If you’re looking for a seafood dinner, you have to put this on your list. Also, you get a Lobster bib which was the perfect touch.
