I almost never write reviews but feel the need to for this one... Booked in a couple of weeks in advance for a work team lunch. I was not contacted about a pre-order, nor was I responded to when I messaged them asking about one. They only set up the table when I arrived. 15-20 minutes after being seated, we were given an updated menu with things they didn't have in stock. I was waiting at the bar to order for about 15 minutes while other people were served as soon as they came in (granted we had a big order and they were just having drinks but no communication at all). Lots of sighs and huffs while we were ordering and were told we'd have to go and get our own coffees from next door if we wanted them as they were short staffed - even though they were on the menu. Finally got the order put through and *just* as I paid was told it would be a minimum of a 45 minute wait which we couldn't do as we all needed to get back to work. The amount was of course refunded but along with a shrug of the shoulders and a 'not our problem' attitude.
Absolutely no communication at all. This isn't the first time I've had a lunch messed up in here either - but at least I got to eat last time! Great place to drink but definitely do not recommend eating here.

This sounds like an awful experience and probably is the reason we are now the new owners of the pub!
