An intimate spot with a love affair for hyper-seasonal produce and low intervention wines. Nestled in the historic neighbourhood of Clapton, Hackney serving Brunch, Lunch, Dinner, Coffee, Wine & carefully created cocktails.

Pablo Garcia is at the helm of the kitchen with experience across many of Hackney's small plate spots including Esocesa and Caldera. Our ingredients are local but our inspiration is global, reflecting the rich diversity of the local community & our menu features Modern European dishes with a twist.

Excellent food and great service, just a bit of a delay with desserts but well worth a visit if in the area.

Brilliant little restaurant with incredible food and delicious cocktails, and the service was amazing as well! Will definitely be going back again soon!

The location is great, by a park, with a little terrace, the staff is very nice and friendly. Food is not bad, but but it's very tiny.

Menu felt a bit experimental which didn’t live up to the price point in my opinion. Good concepts in some of the dishes, but the pork belly was almost inedible with the unrendered fat content.

We had a pre-theatre dinner at this cozy restaurant and it was a delight. Food was innovative and delicious, the service was friendly and timely. Highly recommended.

Really enjoyed my time at The Square. The food was excellent, we got a few dishes to share and each one of them was very interesting. Will definitely come back.
