If something is worth doing it’s worth doing right, is our philosophy.

Whether it’s our classic fish and chips or the more modern duck salad, blue cheese & poached pear, the emphasis is on taste. Head Chef Ian has known Ben for over 15 years and jealously guards his kitchen’s high standards.

We have a good selection of vegetarian dishes, dairy-free dishes and we are nearly 100% gluten-free, whether it’s our lighter lunch menu, the A La Carte, buffet and canapes menus, and not forgetting the kids' menu. The Sunday lunch roast, last but by no means least, a choice of 3 roasts with all the trimmings, sums us up really.

Dogs are more then welcome to join you in our restaurant in the downstairs dining area only. Please feel free to contact us for more information or if you need to amend your booking.

Great food.Good price. Some of the seating needs replacing as stained from food spills. Took family for a lunch and was generally impressed as have not been for some years. Fish and chips outstanding. Burgers excellent. Service great.

Last minute booking for Sunday lunch. Warm welcome, given options as to where we sat, food very good, attentive but not oppressive service. Reasonably priced. Good portion size and really liked that they serve veg on side plates and not just pile it high on dinner plate. Not our first visit and won't be our last.

Bar staff polite & efficient. Waiting staff not particularly attentive. We sat outside. Food was dropped on floor when delivered to table but no attempt to clear up, until we asked. A couple of mice visited during the evening, staff blaze & inferred this was to be expected as venue is next to fields. However, not a pleasant experience when you are eating a meal. Food was average - basic burger & chips, no salad or garnish. Chips very salty. Inside was quite grubby… dirty doors, sticky floors in bar area mould on sink seal & grubby sinks in restrooms. Hand dryer not working, roll off blue kitchen paper on windowsill to dry hands. Disappointing visit, bit sloppy. Noticeable decline since last visit 6 months ago.

We enjoyed a group lunch here on the werkend. Friendly staff. Great pies! Good kids menu & wine list.

We really enjoyed our first time at Spring Inn. Food was excellent, service friendly and lovely surroundings. We'll be back and recommend to our friends.

Food was good, inside was cold kept coat on to keep warm. Toilet was disgusting as there was poo covered toilet paper on the floor of one of the stalls. Service was bad as was forgotten about and then had to go and get our own dessert menu after being forgotten about again.

Pleasant dining room, staff friendly enough, food tasty. Outdoor area noisy due to proximity to A4, but if you sit in the area towards the back it's tolerable.
