The collective dream of four life-long friends and now business partners, The Spread is known for its inventive dishes made from fresh, locally sourced ingredients. It has become the award- winning destination for celebrations big and small in Fairfield County. Food was decent, most times I’ve been there, I don’t think we had too bad of a service but last time we went it felt as if we were almost non-existent as they put us outside claiming it was warm by the fire (it was still kind of chilly with the open door and openings in the roof) and they barely came to our table and skipped coming around to us at times when we needed to order. We gave up in ordering our last round of drinks since no one came to our table. Eventually higher management came over to ask how things were and we just took the check and left. Didn’t feel very welcoming which was unfortunate since we were excited to try brunch there for the first time and it didn’t go as well as we were hoping.

Consistently great food and drinks. The brussel sprouts with honey and meatball appetizers are all time favorites. For dinner, blackened steak tips and gnocchi with veal are fabulous choices. Nice outdoor seating with heaters still great in the cold weather. Fun area of SoNo.

Food is very disappointing. Menu could use a revamp. It’s such a great space and they have just got it wrong.

We enjoyed the wine pairing dinner on 10-11. The food was delicious, especially the braised short ribs & dessert mousse. Lovely ambience too.

Last night, my wife and I experienced a rare treat at The Spread—a special wine tasting event featuring exquisite wines from a Napa Valley vineyard. The evening was truly unique, with each wine thoughtfully paired with custom-crafted dishes created for the event. The ambiance was cozy and elegant, making for a memorable night. Kudos to the attentive staff for such a well-executed event. If you ever get the chance to attend one of their special events, don't miss it! Cheers to an exceptional experience at The Spread!

We sat outside on a beautiful fall evening. The service was exceptional. They have many waitstaff & no one was rushing us. They have a varied menu that satisfied everyone’s tastes. The food was delicious & the portions were perfect. Dinner did not break the bank. Highly recommend

The food was way over priced for what you got. The bacon was very over cooked to the point of crumbling in my BLT, white at $16 I expected better. The standout was the Nutella crème brûlée. Otherwise can’t imagine we will go back. Seems to have gone downhill. Sad
