Built during 2020 with a design to incorporate the countryside surroundings with their unique shepherds hut style, the four pods are a welcomed edition to the pub grounds. The pods offer an intimate private dining experience or a place for a boozy brunch. They are also a great place to book as a family or with friends. Pods are for exclusive use for parties over 5. Parties of 4 or under are welcome to book a pod but this may be shared with another party at busy times.

We reserved a pod for 5 people costing £10 per person deposit, we've booked previously for Christmas and enjoyed it, so we decided to do it again as we were celebrating a 75th and 20th birthday. We received an email from the pub 2 days before the booking advising us that there was a 'change of menu' the kitchen would be closed and there would be a 'food truck' I emailed straight back to ask why this wasn't advised on their websites as I wouldn't have booked it and also to ask what food was available from the truck as we had dietary requirements. I was told to research the truck online....not impressed by the service and lack of info and whilst the food was OK and not their fault it was a very limited menu...overall it was a very very disappointing birthday celebration and we definitely will not be returning.

As always, an amazing meal here. They were extremely attentive without smothering. The food was delicious as well. Couldn’t fault them. The staff were great with our dogs as well! Recommend for a great pub lunch/dinner or even just a quick pit stop.

Amazing service. We booked a pod with our puppy 🐶 The staff were amazing. You can tell they love dogs as nothing was too big or small to help.

We booked a pod on a Sunday lunchtime for a family 95th birthday. It was a great choice as everything was perfect with great attention to detail. We were able to bring our own decorations and have the music turned off to accommodate people with hearing loss :) Great food, beautifully presented and lovely service. The Sunday lunch portions were massive and leftovers were kindly packaged for takeaway. The pub itself is lovely.

Disappointed that they ran out of fish, was given the option of scampi instead. Not much choice on the menu, so settled for a burger. Service is always good, never fault it.
