   The service we received was first class, the music was a bit loud so it was hard to have a conversation, and we also found the bar quite cold.

   Great experience - well looked after during our visit. We were there to celebrate a friends leaving for a new job. We were able to secure an extension to our table to continue with the celebrations, fuelled by yummy cocktails. Boozy brunch was excellent value for money. Food was amazing with really good portions and cocktail menu had good variety and exciting drinks! Would recommend and will be doing it again for sure!

   Service pretty slow, old-fashioned cocktail was the smallest I have ever seen , 75% of the drink was an ice ball not good value

   Food was great, drinks were great. Service a little slow due to large parties.

   We ordered the brioche from the boozy brunch menu but unfortunately all 3 came and we all found them very greasy and soggy. We left most of it. The drinks were fine, but the waitresses kept hovering around. Inevitably did say they were told to do this but to ask if we want a drink every few minutes was overkill. (Not her fault, if she’s been told to do this), but it was verging on very awkward.

   I enjoy visiting The Spiritualist but at 9 o’clock on a Saturday night the vibe wasn’t quite what I was looking for. Early in the evening the music is a good mix at a reasonable level but once the DJ came on it switched to loud dance music. Great if that’s your thing but it’s a very mixed crowd across a wide age range and the music is aimed at younger groups, not old fuddy duddys like me. Sadly we are the ones with more money to spend so I think they are missing a trick here. I’ll definitely be back, the cocktails are great and the staff are lovely but I’ll be leaving before the “night club” kicks off.

   I've eaten here before and it's been fabulous. This time I had the vegetarian option and it was disappointing. The Wellington was lovely, extremely tasty but the vegetables were all very hard and mostly left on the plate. I did tell the waitress this and she said she'd report back to the kitchen. It would have been helpful to hear how that went!!!! The staff are lovely but it was extremely busy being a Friday night and we waited too long for drinks to arrive and we never did get our water!! Experience tells me this was an off night so I'll definitely be back.

    Great atmosphere and ambience. We ordered medium steak on the steak frites menu but out steaks were well cooked. And no one followed up to ask how our meal was.
