Service was excellent. Prices at the top end for the food and it was recommended that we have 300g per person but then none of the sharing cuts were available in anything less than 700g which feels a bit like the restaurant funding a way to boost their revenues.

The staff were very helpful in explaining the cuts and weights of meat and what would be appropriate for 2 etc. cocktails were outstanding and I have a partner with extremely high standards and even he was impressed!!

We decided to celebrate our friendships anniversary at The Spanish Butcher and that was very good decision! Atmosphere was great! I ordered for starter Galician Sourdough and Padrón Peppers and my friend Fillet Of Beef Carpaccio. For main course I ordered Roasted Fillet of Hake and Cauliflower Cheese and my friend Galician Fillet 230g with Picos Blue sauce and Manchego Truffle Fries. We chose Rioja Crianza Journey Collection, Ramón Bilbao to drink. Very pleasant wine. Food was absolutely delicious! This is a place not only for fans of good beef but also for vegetarians like me. We will definitely come back! Highly recommended!

Food was inconsistent; the pork was excellent, the monkfish very poor. We waited an hour between courses with no one coming near us to explain. Neither was it a good choice for two people. The noise level was very high, making conversation all but impossible. An expensive disappointment.
