Nestling beside Seaton green and just 50 yards from the beach, The Smugglers Inn is a family and dog friendly pub that prides itself on offering a traditional selection of classic pub fayre, cooked by our enthusiastic team of chefs, using locally sourced ingredients wherever possible.

Along with the classics, we have a continually updated Specials Board where our chefs love to show their flare and creativity.

The highlight of our culinary week is undoubtedly our Sunday Carvery. Routinely described by our regular customers as ‘The best roast in the area’, with a selection of 3 roast meats, crispy roast potatoes, an amazing selection of 7 vegetables, plus homemade Yorkshire puddings and gravy, it is a truly sumptuous feast to end your week!

Vegetarians are also well catered for, with many of our dishes available with a vegetarian option, including our carvery which comes with TWO homemade vegetarian choices – a delicious nut roast and a vegan lentil roast.

Can honestly say that this was the best Sunday Carvery I have had for a long time. The meats and the choice of vegetables were of good quality and cooked to perfection. Staff are very friendly and attentive. Would thoroughly recommend the Smugglers Inn at Seaton without hesitation. The pub is really dog friendly and ours really enjoyed the carvery tasty bits that were available.

Excellent food and attentive staff. The best Sunday lunch in Cornwall. Meat and vegetables superb with gorgeous thick gravy. Do not miss Sunday lunch at the Smugglers Inn.

Lovely staff , nice roast If I was to be a bit fussy about It would to say Cauliflower cheese needs a look at As not nice ! As I like it creamy & cheesy ! But I would come back !

The small carvery was an ideal size for me and my daughter enjoyed the standard size. She said it was one of the best carvery’s that she’d eaten. The selection of meat was great and my only slight moan was that the beef was a bit tough. It’s great being able to take our dogs. Very friendly and efficient staff.

Lucky we booked up the night before we went for Sunday carvery. Busy for food but we could see why. Amazing tasty meat and veg and super thick and tasty gravy. Small size worked for us but there was also a standard size. Great value for money, lovely ambience and really good service. Would definitely visit again and definitely recommend. Close to the beach for a nice walk after dinner too.

Service with a big smile. Warm welcome by staff, we arrived a bit earlier than the table was booked for, but they relaid it quickly and accommodated us and had us sat, with drinks served within 10mins. Carveries all round. Good selection of well cooked meats, veg and huge yorkies. Table for 8 was a bit dark and cramped in the corner next to the admin. office. But all in all, a really enjoyable lovely Sunday lunch and pint! Dogs well catered for too - they got spoilt! Thank you.😊

We had the carvery and it was superb. A wide range of meats beef, turkey, gammon and pork to choose from, a good choice of veg and the best Yorkshire’s. We also paid for a doggy carvery which went down a treat with our Jack Russell a little tray of all the ends of the mixed meats. Amazing food, the staff were all super friendly and welcoming and it was so nice to have a Sunday carvery with our dog. Would definitely come back - also helps with a lovely dog friendly beach opposite where you can walk off your carvery afterwards!
