From historical interiors and gin cocktails to the newly upgraded outdoor terrace, this is a pretty special place to spend your evening. A basement bar with a lazy feel, its comfy seating is perfectly suited to its music policy. With a flowing roster of acoustic nights of up and coming bands makes this a great underground venue to check out great underground talent. The Smoking Goat is one slick subterranean hideout.

First time had a meal and in the Smoking Goat. It was absolutely fabulous and staff are fab too. Will definitely be back. Value for money. Thank you all.

Really enjoyed the food here,my kids are fussy and almost left empty plates.plus it was a bonus when I got the bill the kids eat free on a Sunday which was a great deal.ill definitely be back.our table was in a little booth with lights it was very relaxing and cosy

The chicken wings were really good but the main meal burger didn't have great taste! The salt and pepper chips were just onions and peppers on top of the chips no flavour and u could tell everything was deep fat fried. A women sat next to us with 2 dogs 1 which was on the table at times and the other was on the seats and twice it came up to us on the seat while we were eating! There should be a separate area where you eat and where dogs are allowed.

Food always amazing. Box up what you don't eat. We usually pick 4 or 5 different things and share a little of everything since we can never decide on one thing each

We got seated promptly after arrival. After ordering drinks the waitress took away the extra menu for our 3rd guest which was then returned with the waitress who delivered the drinks. Food was ordered and we waited about 30 minutes for this which was fine as there was big parties and they were busier with only 2 members of staff. When the food arrived the chicken and waffles were much smaller than the pictures advertised for it which was disappointing. When this was raised to the waitress after clearing the plates she said - well it’s not me that makes the food but I’ll tell the kitchen. We then overheard the conversations being spoken between chefs and the waitress with the long blonde hair and then between her and whom I believe to be the manager. This made us all feel a bit uncomfortable causing us to leave. Feeling a bit disappointed as we rave about the food here and service as we’ve never been disappointed before. I respect that it was busy but I feel as though the way we were spoken to was that we were more of an inconvenience than anything else.

Great service, lovely food, really nice ambience. Was only in for lunch so ate light but it was delicious
