The Smith is lovely. I like their simple menu. Everything is made with quality, is delicious, and a great place to have an easy, lovely weekend breakfast. It's uncomplicated, easy, open, and lovely.

Extremely poor service, we sat outside and there was only one server responsible for all outside tables. He was very nice and apologetic, so it wasn’t his fault. Management needs to better staff/schedule servers, especially when all outside tables are taken. For the price and reputation, I expected much higher level of service.

We had a lovely evening sitting at an outside table. Food and service were excellent. Highly recommend.

This restaurant is down the street from my office. The food is always consistently good and the prices are reasonable. The staff are friendly and attentive.

The pasta with braised short ribs is more like beefaroni. Short ribs is ground.

The food was fine. Nothing overly special. I had a chicken dish and my husband had the short rib ragu. The atmosphere was loud! Don’t expect to go with a big group and have any kind of conversation. The service wasn’t great. He didn’t bring any bread to the table, wasn’t nearly loud enough to hear given the noise level, and I hate when they hold the credit card reader and watch how you tip. Not a fan. Overall, many other restaurants I’d pick in DC over this one but at least I can cross it off the list.
