We brought our friends to the smashed Olive for the first time. Wouldn't you know it, the waitress spilled an order of fried calamari and marinara sauce all over our friends shirt. He was very gracious about it and we all laughed. The waitress felt terrible. The owner came over and apologized as well, and told us he would be happy to pay our dry cleaning bill. Seemed odd to me. Who would do that? We had a very pricey meal there, all they had to do was comp the fried calamari as a token of apology, or give us a free dessert, but they did not. Disappointing as we really like this place. Just something we will have to ponder in the future...

Celebrating our daughter’s birthday with lunch at Smashed Olive. The service we received from Paul was amazing- professional, and friendly!! Food was great- fresh and delicious!! We have been to TSO many times and will be back again!!

First visit to Smashed Olive and I'm sure we will go back. The drinks and food were very good. Highly recommend trying the Peanut Butter & Jelly Old Fashion...just wow!! The Shrimp with Limoncello Creme Sauce appetizer was tasty and the small Wedge Salad was more than enough for both of us to share. My wife had the Lasagna and said it was very good. The noodles were perfect al dente and the sauce was flavorful. I thoroughly enjoyed the Goat Cheese & Mushroom Gnocchi. We were too full to try their desserts but the menu has so many options that sound great, hopefully we will try a dessert next visit.

Atmosphere was comfortable. Attendants were polite and professional. Food was very good and served hot. We were never rushed.

Food is fresh and delicious and drinks are always perfect. Service is always courteous and attentive - especially if you have Philippe or Cat.

The food was excellent as usual. It ia not inexpensive but worth it. We always over order because everything is so good.

Music in the dining room made everyone scream over it in order to have a conversation. He should be playing in the bar area or turn the volume way down. Only highlight was our server, Samantha Rose. She was pleasant and attentive. Food was so so. Not sure we will be back. Definitely not during music playing.

Excellent food and service. Loved the grilled octopus appetizer, short rib ragu and lemon leche for dessert. Delicious!!!
