Really our evening and meal at the Crown been past it so many times and have said we must go sometime. Really pleased we did it was a Monday so a bit quite we didn’t mind that at all. Couldn’t fault it, will certainly be going back.

It was our first night on holiday and we had pre-booked to ensure we got a table. Well from the moment we walked in the door the hospitality accorded us was both refreshing and delightful. All the staff we met without exception had a nice smile and were genuinely happy to help us. We also got some useful advice for places to visit during our vacation! So all in as the saying goes. We walked in as customers but left feeling more like friends. The food was good homemade pub grub.

Lovely little pub! The food was lovely (HUGE portions!!), the service was excellent and it was very family friendly. We are staying at a nearby holiday let and will definitely be recommending it via the guest book!

Great pub, great food, just a shame they don't have more clientele. We were the only ones in the restaurant area. Such a little gem, more people need to visit.

Great choice on the menu. Had the garlic butter chicken off the specials board with chips salad and colslaw, it was delicious. The cookie dough and ice cream was also delicious. Would definitely recommend this place. Staff were friendly and polite. Will definitely return.

Saturday night and they didn’t have any pies, pizzas, sausages or steak. No explanation and only told when trying to order. We had the crispy chilli beef as a starter, which was just strips of plain beef with some raw chopped chilli on salad leaves. Not at all how it was described. Main was pork belly which was just a thick layer of fat, rubbery rind and a thin layer of meat. Not the slow cooked, melt in the moth it should have been. Totally tasteless. Others around us had meals that were cold, items missing and not even the right glasses to serve drinks in. Real shame because it has great potential. Definitely one to avoid unless they get their act together.
