   The menu was fairly extensive with many good options for starters and mains. All the food was excellent and very enjoyable. The service was very attentive as well. Overall it was a very nice experience.

   Wonderful few days in this beautiful setting, food was amazing. Staff were really friendly and couldn’t do enough for you… even gave us a lift as couldn’t get a taxi to a nearby restaurant. Definitely recommend a stay here

   A fantastic way to start celebrating my 60th Birthday with family. Food outstanding, great friendly service, Birthday Plate was a lovely touch!

   Had a very enjoyable experience at the Slaughters Inn The food was very good my wife’s two course were very good especially the Cod a good size portion with a very flavoursome sauce cooked perfectly unfortunately my salad Cesar Salad, was average lettuce was diced into very large pieces, thought the croutons should have been freshly made, tasted like they were from a packet, looked a little thrown together, but I would definitely return, liked the place service and ambience

   This is a wonderful place to both eat and stay in. The staff are helpful and professional and the food was amazing. Sadly no cocktails available, but there was a comprehensive drinks menu.

    The food and service were fabulous but the chairs in the dining room are extremely uncomfortable. They are all the same and have very saggy seat cushions. This means you spend your time trying to prevent the chair frame at the front under your legs from cutting off your blood supply. New chairs needed please.
