The Simpson complements Brooklyn’s new restaurant age from Williamsburg to Prospect Park, by offering a seafood friendly Caribbean/Soul Food cuisine and an inspired Classic Cocktail menu infused with the nuances and flavors of the Afro Diaspora’s spice market. The Simpson will embody the soulful vibes and beats of the borough, while capturing the exuberance of the New Brooklyn Renaissance through Art, Music, Mixology and Cuisine. The service will be reminiscent of wherever you call home, as Chef’s “Cooking with Love” menu will be completed with with an array of delectable pastries and desserts, yummy mock tails for the non-drinker, and creative elixirs for the adventurous. Menu highlights include Hennessy Fried Shrimp, Bourbon Bbq, 5 Cheese Macaroni Pie, and Wings.

Our overall experience was great… my husband had the Jerk Fried rice with chicken… I had the Steamed Snapper… we also had a side of plantains, steamed veggie and Mac and cheese. Everything was on point, from the service to the food itself.. and evening well spent for the Hubster and I

Foods weas amazing. Atmosphere was awesome and prices were good. My only complaint was that the waitress forgot to bring my daughter her drinks until we were finished eating and I asked her for sparkling water and I never got that. Very disappointed 😞

I always enjoy dining at this restaurant. However on this occasion I was highly disappointed. I requested a happy birthday acknowledgement for my mother who turned 93 years young. I told 3 people and no came over to celebrate her.

My first time here but this is one of my mother’s favorite restaurants and now I know why. Great food, drinks, staff. A million TVs to keep your attention if you’re there for sports. It’s a great space. And I’ll be back.

diamond was a a great server. Food was very good a little pricey but portions are plenty. The curry goat, rasta pasta, wings rice and plantain were all good and filling. The mint guave lemonade did not come with mint leaves as it says on the menu. It was ok but not worth $9 , might as well add rum for $6 extra. other than that ambiance was nice it is right accross from barclays center so i am sure if gets busy.we went on a tuesday night as we were visiting from out of town. But it still was pretty jumping. Alot of people having bday dinners. I would recommend and go again.

The food was great. Just had a difficult time getting the waitresses attention. Other than that, food and service was amazing.

We had a good dinner (lamb chops, wings, and mac cheese) prior to our concert at Barclays. Shout out to Jessica, our attentive server.
