The Silo Cookhouse offers a culinary farm to table journey set amidst the tranquility of the Farm’s eclectic dining room and the splendor of sweeping sunset views of Mt. Pisgah. We offer an a la carte menu, communal seating dinner service Wednesday-Saturday evenings. Guests are encouraged to arrive early, at 5:00 when our bar opens up! Please make your reservation time at the time you would like to be seated for dinner.

Our experience is a great chance to meet new people and make new friends! Our menu changes in accordance with the freshest, seasonal local ingredients.

Henderson, Transylvania, & Buncombe County residents will receive 20% off at The Silo Cookhouse and The Stable Spa EVERY Thursday. That's right. We love our locals and want to see you at least once a week!

Our second visit to The Silo. First was outstanding, but only fair this time. My salad selection, potato freka , was actually a hot side dish. My bone in pork chop was 50% fat and I was not provided a steak knife to wrestle with it. The couple next to us was celebrating their 35 th anniversary . Their Bill was presented with two glasses of champagne ( sorry, much too late). It was my wife’s birthday. She received a Happy Birthday “ by the seating hostess. No other acknowledgement. We are locals in town and sadly , will not return .

We were a party of 4 at the Silo. The food and service was very good. To start we shared 3 appetizers and 2 small plates. For the main meal we shared 3 entrees. Our server recommended sharing so everyone could try something different.

This is our favorite restaurant in the area. The food is always fantastic and the staff makes it a wonderful experience. We typically take our own wine (even though their wine list has improved in the past year), and Sheridan, our favorite server, always knows more about the wine than we do. He's a wealth of knowledge when it comes to wine and the food being served. Tina, the bartender, makes great cocktails. The chefs are fantastic and put together wonderful and creative dishes. This is a fabulous place for a date night or to go out with friends.

Delicious, fresh and unique. The restaurant exemplifies farm to table. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly. The property is stunning.

The food was very good, but not as good as I was expecting, and they didn’t have any fish that night as it wasn’t delivered. The venue itself is beautiful. It’s over an hour drive for us to get there, so don’t think we’ll go again.

This was our first time dining at the silo and wanted to celebrate a family birthday. No fish option available that night, only a crab risotto, half a chicken on the bone and steak option for entrée. Appetizers were not that good. Crudités were not cut in serving size pieces - 1 large carrot and 2 large cucumber pieces. Ended up cutting them with a butter knife at our table. Large 3x6 crackers were served with poblano cheese and hummus. Salad was mostly collard greens and hard to cut. Wine was good. Steak was good. Server was very nice. Very noisy communal dining room. Nothing was offered for the birthday celebration. The farm itself is very pretty. Overpriced for what we experienced.

Apparently on this day we did not deliver. Our culinary team strives to put the highest quality meals together each night, so it is with a heavy heart that it was not up to our standards. Brunch was pretty good; the bacon was my favorite. Not sure why good southern biscuits would be served cold, but they were. Our server was good but people who brought the food to the table were mixed up about who ordered what on 3 occasions during our meal, bringing the wrong food and drinks to the wrong people. This is simply a lack of training. Ambiance and main server were great and we loved the experience.
