The Silo Cookhouse offers a culinary farm to table journey set amidst the tranquility of the Farm’s eclectic dining room and the splendor of sweeping sunset views of Mt. Pisgah. We offer an a la carte menu, communal seating dinner service Tuesday-Saturday evenings, and Brunch on Sunday from 11-5. Guests are encouraged to arrive early, at 4:00 when our bar opens up! Please make your reservation time at the time you would like to be seated for dinner.

Thursday’s Are For LOCALS!
Henderson, Transylvania, & Buncombe County residents will receive 20% off at The Silo Cookhouse and The Stable Spa EVERY Thursday. That's right. We love our locals and want to see you at least once a week!

What a beautiful, peaceful spot. The food was very fresh and delicious! Darryl really topped off our great dinner experience. We will definitely be back. Enjoyed being able to share the smaller plates.

Our third visit to the Silo Cookhouse at Horseshoe Farm didn't disappoint! Our waiter, Cindy, was professional, attentive, and fun. Bartender Tina mixed mean Boulevardiers, and the food was outstanding. The chef stopped by to check on us, and making new friends over the course of dinner was a special bonus. Can't at l wait to get back for the new early fall menu!

The place pretty busy for a Thursday night and we sat inside for the first. I prefer sitting out on the porch, but being inside wasn’t as crowded-feeling as I thought it would be. Our food was excellent, but the plates came out much more scattered than we have had before. As an example, a pork chop entree didn’t show up until the other three of us were half way through our meals. It used to be much tighter food delivery. I wish they would return to the “old” way of doing things. But overall, a great meal and well worth a return visit to see the fall menu.

Overall we had a great meal and everything we ordered was delicious especially the potato dish that has a take on a bagna cauda anchovy dip on top. Steak was excellent. Service was very good and the ambiance is very nice - kinda like an old school dinner club. Recommend coming early for a drink before dinner and to walk the property/sit on the patio or at the nice bar. Only complaint is the wine list is pretty limited with no real exciting choices and they were out of the first 3 wines I tried to order off the list. I will bring my own wine next time for the $25 corkage fee. It is communal table seating , which is great unless you get seated next to a large group that wants to talk amongst themselves, and therefore it can make conversation difficult if you are across the table from each other. I would recommend coming with at least 2 other people as I am not sure this is a couples environment. We will be back.

I booked this place for my fathers bday and was really excited to come here for dinner. The food was wonderful but the ambiance truly ruined it all. We were sitting outside and once it got dark, there were no lights.We were given three small candles after asking over and over for them but still were not able to see anything. Imagine having to pay 200 dollars for dinner that you can’t see. Really was disappointing and I hope they can fix that soon!
