I booked a table for my bestie and I to have lunch in celebration of her birthday! What we received was over and above what we expected; glass of champers on arrival, excellent food, outstanding service and a lovely atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed the Shrub experience and will certainly be back for more in the not too distant future. Thank you so much to our host and her Chef hubby

Happy welcoming staff , nothing too much for them , lovely atmosphere, great delicious food ,highly recommend we’ll be back 😊

Food was excellent and well presented , we had the small plates with lots of choice available. We ate mid afternoon and there was a large party who came in so we felt our service was slightly compromised. Will revisit again

What a little gem this place is. Food, staff, cocktails…it’s all just lovely. Family and dog friendly as well. I can’t recommend it enough. A must visit.

4 of us went for breakfast - 3 Shrub Breakfast and 1 vegetarian breakfasts. They were all absolutely delicious. The coffee is also lovely and the restaurant itself is nicely decorated, the outside terrace is far bigger than I was expecting. Will return :)

Lovely restaurant serving great quality, extremely tasty food. We’ve eaten here twice now having a selection of small plates both times, beautifully presented, a good size & very flavourful. The service is also excellent, very accommodating, polite, caring & efficient. Becks also has a great sense of humour (large spoons & daughters 🤦🏻‍♀️) . We will be back again shortly as it’s great

My fifth visit - keep recommending the Shrub to people - it’s a real gem of a place. Tried something different every time and always delicious . Yesterday shared portions of chicken flatbread and the steak/brie flatbreads with my friend. Great drinks selection, not sampled the cocktails but they look great. Had a delicious iced coffee to finish our lunch. The restaurant had a nice buzz about it over lunch. Outside is lovely but - and it’s a small but - the heater above us was on and the area became extremely hot very quickly. Inside is lovely too .

Came for the bottomless brunch with my daughter in law. Staff were absolutely wonderful. We originally booked a table inside but were offered one on the outside terrace and as the weather was lovely accepted the offer. Drinks came within minutes of us sitting down. There was plenty to choose from on the menu and the food was amazing. We chose 4 different plates and shared them. Staff kept asking if we would like another drink and as it was bottomless who would refuse? The drinks were as lovely as the food. The ambience of the place is lovely and the staff were really friendly, kind and approachable. We will definitely be coming again to enjoy the hospitality. Lovely little gem of a place.
