    First time at Shrub restaurant excellent service food was really enjoyable and good value, we would recommend everyone to try this lovely quirky establishment.

    The Shrub is like the Tardis! Doesn't look much from the front but plenty room inside with a lovely covered terrace at the back. Very nicely decorated

    Lovely place to go have brunch. The staff are lovely too. The only thing that let it down was the cutlery wasn't ready when our food came out. The rest was absolutely amazing.

    Gorgeous little eaterie … the food is delicious and had a lovely summerhouse relaxing feel .. the outside area is so nice .. would definitely recommend

    Been a couple of times and we will be back. Cute place, really cosy and friendly with excellent service. Food is good and the coffee is excellent. We've only been for breakfast and will definitely be going to an evening meal based on the menu and our current experience. No parking but loads of space over the road by the station. Good access too with a ramp and accessible toilet.

    First visit to The Shrub. We booked a table for 2 late Saturday afternoon. There was already a small hen party group and another group of ladies all enjoying themselves. We were early but the staff made us welcome and served us drinks. They were very attentive and welcoming. The place is lovely, small but a lot of thought has gone in to the decor and it’s something different. There are seat cushions and blankets if needed. Pooches have their own water station with treats. Views out of the back are over the river. We booked the bottomless brunch and the choice of food and drink were very good. Food came quickly and we were never left with an empty glass. Well worth a visit
