My favourite place in the area to come for a Sunday roast! Food is always piping hot and tastes lovely

Fist visit. Loved the decor, cosy with a warm welcome. Service attentive, food lovely, priced about right. Toilets and pub clean . Had the lamb with veg could not fault, lamb a tad fatty but some people enjoy that so… Will use again.

A beautiful country pub with a lovely beer garden. The inside of the pub has been decorated tastefully. The owners are very welcoming and gave us help with the menu. The food was so much better than usual pub fare most of it was home cooked and delicious. We will certainly be coming back

The menu was 60% deleted as they had nothing with chicken or fish available, and one of the two pies on the menu was unavailable too. The shepherds pie was so salty I couldn't eat all of it. £17 for a microwaved dish of shepherds pie? Much too expensive. I won’t be going back.

The Ship is by far my favourite pub. The decor is so lovely, the atmosphere is great too. But what makes it so special are the staff - Sunny in particular is outstanding. It wouldn’t be the same without her!

I took my Ladies Lunch Club to this Restaurant the Reviews were really good .but alas they were not for us . There was only one piece of sirloin left so I had that ,very gristly and I did mention no wonder it was the last piece ,I also mentioned this to the Waitress . So no deduction was made for it ,didnt expect the whole amount but £5 would have been ok but at £31 wont be having that again. 3 Ladies had the Sausages and Mash which they see on the board and they said it was that small by the time they got home they were starving .They expected Veg with it and realised they were separate and by the time they ordered them their meal would have be cold .Our Waitress was lovely couldnt fault her ,very nice and helpful.But sorry we wont be returning .
