A very enjoyable evening having the guest menu which was Italian. The ambience was great and the wine superb Would very much recommend a visit

Another excellent Sunday lunch at The Ship. Warmly greeted on arrival. Drinks order taken and quickly shown to our table. Friendly service throughout and first class roasts for lunch.

First time visiting for Sunday lunch with the family. I have Coeliac, which can sometimes be tricky, but I had access to the full menu with a few modifications (GF Yorkshire puddings and cauliflower cheese side dish). The bar also has a great range of beers, including a GF IPA on draught, which was a nice treat instead of the usual bottle GF beer offerings. The staff were all very friendly and the pub had a nice atmosphere, without being too loud. The various roasts and desserts that we ordered were all great and we will definitely be back. Highly recommended!

Once again an excellent experience on all fronts. Food well above the standard of other local places, well trained staff, and a light, bright, clean environment in which to enjoy a weekday lunch with the girls.

A Good evening with friends on their steak night evening - as always their food was fantastic lots of it and needed a doggy bag at the end to take home. Friendly staff. Fully recommend
