What was once a rowdy sailor’s drinking den has been transformed into a civilised gastro pub complete with a separate and impressive function and convention facility that can cater for up to 200 guests. This iconic South Bank hotel was constructed in 1864 and has developed a reputation as a lamb lover’s paradise. Our classic pub style menu boasts mouth watering dishes for all dining tastes. With three distinct dining areas plus function rooms, The Ship Inn is the perfect location for casual dining, lazy alfresco lunches, functions and events. We don’t have poker machines, we don’t have TV’s and we don’t have TAB. We are a true gastro pub with a traditional atmosphere in a prime South Bank location. Visit us to experience the charm of our unique hotel venue.

All five of us enjoyed the food, the customer service was very good and the attendant to our table was very pleasant.

The vegetarian lasagne and macadamia mango curry where very nice. Servings decent size too. Quick service by lovely waiters.
