                                                            Appreciate the pub is a small village pub but I would prefer dining away from the bar area as it was very noisy at times and I have poor hearing in noisy environments. However food was very good. Buratta and tomatoes needed a little seasoning and olive oil.

                                                            We go to the Rose & Crown whenever we are in the area. It’s a very quaint country pub with good food. We went on Saturday and it was really busy and noisy so my mum found it difficult to hear conversation (she’s 92 so likes things quiet) I’m really pleased that the pub is busy but just didn’t work for us on this occasion. My mum didn’t like what she ordered and they did offer to change it but there was nothing wrong with it. My beef was delicious! Service on this occasion took ages but again not their fault. Will definitely return but perhaps not on a weekend. The staff are always lovely, polite and helpful.

                                                            Service was super friendly, drinks excellent but food only so-so and very overpriced. I would call in for a pint but won’t be visiting again to eat.
