'perfect English country pub', serving exceptional food in our bar and dining room and a beautiful sunny beer garden. Join for snacks Tuesday – Saturday, with the full food menu available at lunch and dinner Wednesday – Sunday, including roasts with all the trimmings on Sunday afternoons.

A wonderful evening at the Shilton Rose & Crown. The food was amazing (lamb shank and lobster bisque risotto). The staff were lovely and very attentive and the beer was excellent. Can’t fault it!

As always a friendly welcome, great service and fab food. Our go to place when we have friends to stay and we want to eat out. Happy to recommend.

Really nice place. The chap hosting was really friendly and attentive, service was good…food took a little while to come but was cooked fresh and was extremely tasty. A little luxury at lunch time. Highly recommend it. Maybe a little light on children’s options but it didn’t matter because the host gave us some options that worked for us.

Host was very amicable and passionate about the provenance of the produce. The food was of a very high quality, full of flavour and well presented. The pub had a lovely atmosphere even though it wasn’t busy, we had a very warm welcome (the beer was good too!). Definitely not your average “pub” meal. We hope to return soon.

We had an absolutely fantastic meal here on Saturday. We were incredibly well looked after by all servers and enjoyed delicious meals. We had a few allergies in our party and nothing was too much trouble. Our dishes were capably tweaked where needed to avoid any allergens and we were never made to feel difficult or embarrassed. The sample menu doesn't do justice to the flexibility they offer. We would come here again any day - brilliant staff, excellent food & great ambience. Highly recommend - 10/10.
