    Lovely Sunday lunch, fabulous vegetables - beef a bit tough and all a wee bit over salted, better to add at the table! I usually add - and didn’t, my friend found it too salty for her. Would definitely go back! Great experience- hope this is helpful feedback x

    Nice interior and good range of seating options. Staff were friendly and helpful. The menu choice was limited and on a warm evening there was no "light" main meal option and no possibility to have a side salad instead of chips. The food was a bit bland and a little expensive. Drinks choice was good and a good range of local beers served

    Normally we go to the sheep & penguin for D&D every week or two and the drinks are always amazing, but we decided to try the food there this time. The staff were amazing as always (they even handmade garlic mayo for us), the food was absolutely incredible and we'll definitely be going back again for food to try more of the menu.

    We had a great Sunday Lunch, two of us had Beef and one had Chicken. The food was excellent although possibly the portion size for the vegetables was a little small for three people. The ambience was nice and the staff were attentive. I would recommend a visit.

    We enjoyed it very much. the food was excellent, service was very good. The staff were very friendly. It was quiet the day we went due to Glastonbury festival being on, but we still enjoyed it very much. We'll definitely be returning.

    A really nice, relaxing atmosphere. Great table service, varied menu and attentive staff. The food was delicious and good value for money. Thank you.

    Great new Gastropub pub in Wells. Service and food were outstanding. We had a selection of small plates to start including the mussels which were delicious. The chicken breast risotto was delicious as was the 2 way lamb. Portions were very generous with no one leaving disappointed.
