My most recent visit to the Shanty was a bit disappointing. The overall experience and ambience were marked down due to some extremely and boy do I mean EXTREMELY loud patrons at the bar. I didn't know if they were having a good time or arguing, but it was very disconcerting and went on for a while. Our waitress was outstanding, but the food took a long time coming out. I will say that my meal as always was delicious. I had the statler chicken with pea/lemon risotto. This experience will not stop me from going again, but for this particular evening it was a bit unnerving.

The reason service got a 3 is because when I booked on Open Table I added a comment that apparently was ignored and it was terribly disappointing. It might sound silly however I asked for a desert to be brought to the table after we ate to celebrate a birthday. The birthday was for my adult son whom I don’t often see for his birthday due to the fact he lives an 8 hour plane ride away. I just wanted a little special recognition. I would assume it was the hostess who dropped the ball here vs the server. Food was great despite being rather sad when we left.

The food was amazing and the staff was very on point! Sergio was our server and he went above and beyond. My friend jokingly said she needed a bib and he got her an extra napkin to use as one! He was very attentive. It was our first time there and we are definitely going to go back!

Consistently excellent food and service. We really like the range of food because it seems to accommodate everyone from very healthy-concious items, to fish, to steak, etc. The seasoning and flavors are particularly impressive. We regularly see things in the menu like kimchi, curry, etc.

Server was gracious and genuine, not intrusive. Food was spectacular! Fantastic Summer sangria.

The Shanty consistently delivers an exceptional dining experience. The Bruschetta was a standout appetizer, boasting a delightful blend of flavors with a satisfying kick. The Sweet Soy Wings are our favorite, with crispy skin and coated in an addictive sweet and savory sauce. Cocktails/mocktails were delicious and the Lobster rolls were a satisfying way to end the meal. Without a doubt, a 10 out of 10 dinner
