We are a 21+ restaurant and bar. Founded in 2018 by Joel and Matthew and purchased in late 2022 by Becky and Jon, the vision remains the same: Old English pub vibes, high quality food.

We loved The Shambles from the minute we walked in and now we continue the heritage of what was created before us. On the food side: high quality steaks, cut in house. Cooks who have the freedom to create seasonal dishes ranging from foraged mushrooms to house made sausages. To go with your meal, we offer skillfully made, non-fussy cocktails, carefully selected wines, a plethora of beers, sours, and ciders on tap and a a robust non alcoholic selection. We top it all off with warm and knowledgeable service. At the Shambles, you can join us for a lovely date night, get together with friends OR choose to sit at the bar and get an ear full of cheesy jokes and unfiltered chatter We are serious about our service from top to bottom and we can’t wait to serve you!

Went for happy hour at 4:15 and had a good time with a group of around 9. Made a reservation and labeled our group as “coming for happy hour”. Got there, the initial waiter was very nice and helpful. But as it got closer to 5pm. A woman who worked there came by and said that our table was reserved at 7pm so we’d need to move to the “lounge area”. We laughed it off since she was telling us this 2 hrs before the next party. She then started removing plates and drinks before we were done and kept telling us they were booked out for the night, even tho there was only about 5 other people in the place and plenty of open seating. Plus at that point we had ordered some food off the happy hour menu, just wasn’t the $150 prime cut steak. I get they probably wanted us to order food and we didn’t spend that much for a group of 9, but it was in the opening hour and no one was waiting for our table. Anyways we walked over to project 9 brewing next door and got food there for much cheaper.

This is our favorite restaurant- and go to when we want a relaxing night out. The food is so delicious- wagu steak cooked to perfection, baby gem salad, skinny truffle fries, great appetizers and the cocktails are on point! This will be your next favorite place!

The food is amazing. Service is fantastic. I didn't catch our server's name, but she was wearing a fun shirt that we commented on and was just so great to us. Second birthday night we've celebrated here and we're thinking this is going to become a routine. Fantastic all around

We loved taking our neighbor Larry to Shambles for his 76th birthday. The steak and potatoes were very moist and delicious. Our waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. We love the ambiance of the restaurant. We will be back.

The Shambles is a fantastic spot! The food was cooked perfectly and we got exactly what we expected. The variety of dishes was lovely, but the real draw for us was the chalkboard where all cuts available that day are listed, and crossed out as diners select what they want. The service was quick, attentive, and kind. We’re definitely going back!

The Shambles, a superb steakhouse without the formality of a steakhouse, is one of favorite restaurants in Seattle. Add in killer sides, delicious cocktails, and excellent desserts, all served up by a warm and friendly staff of professionals and you've got yourself the perfect evening out.
