We are a 21+ restaurant and bar. Founded in 2018 by Joel and Matthew and purchased in late 2022 by Becky and Jon, the vision remains the same: Old English pub vibes, high quality food.

We loved The Shambles from the minute we walked in and now we continue the heritage of what was created before us. On the food side: high quality steaks, cut in house. Cooks who have the freedom to create seasonal dishes ranging from foraged mushrooms to house made sausages. To go with your meal, we offer skillfully made, non-fussy cocktails, carefully selected wines, a plethora of beers, sours, and ciders on tap and a a robust non alcoholic selection. We top it all off with warm and knowledgeable service. At the Shambles, you can join us for a lovely date night, get together with friends OR choose to sit at the bar and get an ear full of cheesy jokes and unfiltered chatter We are serious about our service from top to bottom and we can’t wait to serve you!

Beef, obviously, but there are always delicious alternatives. Last night we had the miso cod and osso bucco. Both lovely to look at and delightful to eat. My order for a Perfect Manhattan was, in fact, perfect. Service is attentive and thoughtful, as usual. Also now serving the best NA IPA out there!

Loved the tasty and tender steak frites, baby gem Caesar salad, and the delicious Rittenhouse Manhattan at HH! Service is always friendly and impeccable. We love that you can reserve at the bar and when you arrive, your place settings are waiting for you!!! Always a cozy time!

Went for my birthday and loved it so much I took a friend back a week later. Both times I had the Wagyu Bavette and love that you can pick your portion size. The second time they were out of the size I wanted so my friend and I picked a little larger one to share. Sides are a la carte so we picked a few of those too-the crushed potatoes and the shaved Brussels salad were both delicious and seasoned well. For my bday we had the Caesar salad which had a creamy, mustard-forward dressing and the perfect croutons. Cocktails are well made and balanced and they have some good NA options. We only tried the chocolate pot de crème for dessert, and oh my. Perfect to share because it is so rich and decadent, but not too much. This has become my new neighborhood favorite!

What a great spot! Every dish was delicious, the service was wonderful, and the ambiance was just perfect. Excellent date night spot.

It’s a treat to eat here. It’s a friendly neighborhood place with delicious food. It’s loud but I tend to like the music.

Absolutely fantastic meal. It’s been awhile since we visited, and they’ve only refined the overall experience since then. Only small complaint is that I got a glass of wine that tasted off, but our server was understanding about it and took it off the bill. Looking forward to going back!

The Shambles is one of my favorite go-to restaurants and it's such fun to bring people there for their first time because the dining experience is a bases-loaded grand slam EVERY SINGLE TIME!

Great food and great people as always! Some of the best food in North Seattle in a completely comfortable and unpretentious setting. It was the perfect spot for a relaxing and delicious dinner to celebrate my partner’s birthday, and the super friendly service and great drinks were the cherry on top. Highly recommend for anything from a casual evening out to a special occasion!
