With a surname that means “fisherman’, Fons de Visscher opened his first fish shop in Helmond in 1984, beloved by locals from afar. The first Seafood Bar he opened in 2012 on the Van Baerlestraat, Amsterdam, which along with his son and daughter grew into an iconic fish restaurant known for its long lines.

Our fish restaurant is renowned for its outstanding quality and service. Whether you’re in the mood for a light lunch or a full meal, The Seafood Bar is the place to be. The food is amazing! We had some starters which we shared and they were all delicious. Great place to dine with some friends!

The seafood platter was the best selection I have ever seen and was truly delicious. Good range of champagne and lots of other food choices.

Service shocking. Got 1 meal and my partner got hers 30 Mins later after reminding. 1 side dish missing and still tried to charge us. Understand they were busy but not once was there an apology. Industrial and not personal
