We’re hosting a laid-back and fun wine tasting with vinyl spun by Sea Rancher Richard Harris. We’re joined by Wild Hog Vineyard, Wild Hog Vineyard is a small family winery and vineyard in the Fort Ross Seaview AVA area, about 5 miles from Fort Ross. They started planting grapes in 1981 and became a bonded winery in 1990. Their certified organic vineyard produces about 800 cases of wine a year including Pinot Noir, Zinfandel, and Syrah. $85 per person plus tax and 20% gratuity. Ages 21 and up only.

Our server appeared quite distracted, and the timing of our food and drinks felt disjointed, especially considering the price point of the restaurant. He spent a noticeable amount of time by the kitchen and didn’t engage with us meaningfully, even though we mentioned we were celebrating a birthday. We rallied and made the most of it but the service was disappointing.

It’s such a lovely environment to eat in. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful with wine choices. Loved the food beyond! Will always turn to the Lodge for an eating extravaganza.

We always enjoy an evening at the Lodge! Tonight’s dinner was the best we’ve ever experienced there! Loved, loved the scallops, the crab cakes, and the chicory salad. Really lovely fresh clean flavors and beautiful, simple presentation. Cant wait to return!

Very comfortable venue. Had drinks at the bar first and they sat us when we were ready. Very attentive service and delicious food. Made from healthy local ingredients with nice presentation.

Drinks and wine list were good. Ambiance and service were fine. The ocean view is great and there’s a homey vibe that is also nice. The food was too salty and lacked subtlety for the price. Although I would give it another try because it’s such a unique lodge.

From the beginning of our 30th anniversary dinner we were feted like never before! Jay ushered us to a window seat at our previous request and appreciated our anniversary with wonderful conversation. Jesse was delightful with serving beverages and noting our celebration. Then Kayla regaled us for the rest of the evening by honoring us with continuing surprises and carefully suggested delights for our dinner. The service we received was so respectful of our special milestone. Many kudos to the kitchen for the fabulous food . We simply could not have enjoyed this experience more. Thank you all.

We had a great time at the Harvest Winemaker dinner. The food and wine were delicious. Our only quibble was that everything, except dessert, was served family style. We have been to winemaker’s dinners at other places and this was a first. It was awkward to be seated with people you didn’t know and have to share food. Especially at that price point.

The reason I gave it only 3 stars is because they did not tell us beforehand that we’re having a big event and had a greatly reduced menu to offer others I eat there frequently and they have had the same menu for a long time so it was upsetting when the dish i wanted was not being offered I drove an hour to get there and there are no other options thst were available if they were I would have taken

An all round great experience. We were staying in one of the accommodations so we ate at the Lodge several times. Yesterday evening was the one time we ate in the dining room. This was the best service experience with August and Dakota. Breakfast and bar food/ drinks were all delicious and the staff friendly and caring.

When visiting Sea Ranch, you have to go to dinner at the Lodge. The views are spectacular. The food was excellent, though the menu is somewhat limited and pricey. We had great service at the bar from Trace and excellent service from our waitress, Dakota.
