The Salt Line - Navy Yard offers indoor STANDARD seating and OUTDOOR Patio Seating. Our OUTDOOR riverfront patio seating has been winterized and is now comfortably available all year round. The OUTDOOR reservations area has been tastefully enclosed in clear insulated curtains that still provide a scenic river view and is well protected, well heated and honored all weather. Additionally we offer FIREPIT LOUNGE reservations in our large outdoor bar area and first come first served bar, hightop and lounge seating. Please note: the Outdoor Bar area with hightops is covered and well heated but the fire pit and lounge seating is uncovered and so weather permitting. If your desired reservation is not available online or of you have any reservations questions please call the restaurant for more up to the minute information and assistance. For groups larger than 14 contact events@thesaltline.com.

Our server was outstanding. Probably the best service that I've experienced in a long time. Also, I've been to Salt Line several times and the food is always exceptional.

Had a great birthday dinner outside at Salt Line. The view of the Anacostia and Douglass Bridge is unbeatable, but the food (lobster rolls!) and service make the stop worthwhile on their own. A good selection of cold beers and drinks doesn’t hurt either!

Great location and view. Good outdoor area. Drinks were bland. Food portions were incredibly small. Our waitress was amazing but it took over 30 minutes for our raw bar items, which were also bland. Overall, probably wouldn’t go back given how many good options are in DC.

Server was not overly friendly. Very flat. Asked a question about how something on the menu was prepared and she didn’t know the answer. Be aware that they do add an extra 4% to your bill over and above regular taxes and gratuity. Food was good but not exceptional for the cost.

Great East coast seafood with an Iberian twist. Price is a little high, but that is likely due to the location (in DC and on the water).

Always love the food at Salt Line! It got a little warm outside so a few fans might help with that. We still had a great time.

Very disappointed. From out of town and this place looked good online. Most of the food we had was bland, unflavorful: shrimp cocktail, condiments with the oysters, scallops meal, the butter with the rolls. Pork chop was good. Wait service was inattentive after we ordered. Would not go back.
