The Salt Line - Navy Yard offers indoor STANDARD seating and OUTDOOR Patio Seating. Our OUTDOOR riverfront patio seating has been winterized and is now comfortably available all year round. The OUTDOOR reservations area has been tastefully enclosed in clear insulated curtains that still provide a scenic river view and is well protected, well heated and honored all weather. Additionally we offer FIREPIT LOUNGE reservations in our large outdoor bar area and first come first served bar, hightop and lounge seating. Please note: the Outdoor Bar area with hightops is covered and well heated but the fire pit and lounge seating is uncovered and so weather permitting. If your desired reservation is not available online or of you have any reservations questions please call the restaurant for more up to the minute information and assistance. For groups larger than 14 contact events@thesaltline.com.

Saltline is always really good. No complaints. Got everything we ordered and it was tasty. Oysters were great.

First visit and we we will return! We started with the scrimp cocktail which were nice sized. Pork chops, clam chowder soup and fish sandwich rounded out the meal. Melissa provided great service! Thanks for a great evening!

The scallops entree with the sauce was exceptional. Fries were tasty. My partner enjoyed her spicy shrimp sandwich. Food was excellent and quick to the table

Overpriced, average tasting food. Small lobster roll $39. Burger with a blah salad $20. service was adequate but nothing that stood out.

Much quieter and nicer than one in Ballston. We had a nice table with view of the river. Server was excellent and food was delicious,

Another DC restaurant that imposed a service tax on top of additional rising prices. Drinks are overpriced but still good. Food is delicious as always.

We were running a few minutes late because there was a baseball game and we had trouble finding parking. I was bringing friends from out of town. I called to see if we could push the time of our reservation back and the hostess was just so lovely about it and gave us a good feeling right off the bat. We arrived and were welcomed by 3 smiling young hosts at the door. The waitress was equally nice- I think her name was Melissa- and spent time discussing the beers we had questions about and finally suggested that she “surprise” me - her choice was amazing. The food was delicious. A great experience from start to finish. Salt line in DC is my go- to.
