   Menu very limited. Food was just ok. Service was just ok. Overall it was over priced and very little to recommend it really.

   Our experience at the Sally Gap Restaurant was disappointing. Our wine order was forgotten, and we had to remind the waitress; by then, we had already finished our starters. We then waited over an hour for our main courses, and again had to bring it to the waitress’s attention. Although we received a brief apology when we brought it to their attention, it didn’t appear to warrant much of an apology on their side. Throughout the meal, we noticed service issues at other tables as well, which created a negative atmosphere.

   Food was delicious in a very novice setting. Meats were cooked to perfection.

   I have eaten here twice before and had an excellent meal. I don't give bad reviews and this isn't intended to be bad. My burger for €34, despite asking for it to be very well done was rare and luke warm. My husband's cod €32 was also undercooked and had to go back. The two prawn cocktails €19 each were excellent. There was apologies for both from the delightful, hard working staff and we both received great meals when they came back (the burger was the best I have had). This is not a cheap restaurant but since it was redone, it's a lovely room, with a good choice of food and I would eat here again.

   We had the Wagyu beef burger with fries & it was excellent. Quite pricey though. The desserts looked great but we just didn’t have room. The restaurant itself is very tastefully decorated & the staff were polite and efficient. We will definitely return again.

   Very busy and understaffed. We were told that we had to give the Table back in 1 .5 hours! I’ll never go back.

We operate a 1 hour and 30 minute seating policy for all tables up to four people on busy nights and this is is outlined upon booking through OpenTable. We invite all guests to join us in our bar area after this time limit to continue their evening.    One of the most stunning meals I’ve had in a long time. Food served promptly and was blown away by how tasty everything was. Service was fantastic. Cocktails delicious and the most beautiful setting to relax in after a lovely day. Already looking to return!
