Today, it is a redesigned space that boasts exposed wood beams, elegant chandeliers, and exceptional cuisine. Both spaces are located on opposite sides of the property, ensuring exclusive use of the facility. Nestled on these 10 acres are overnight accommodations as well. The Grand Ballroom- With the feel of a country farmhouse paired with modern flair, the breathtaking 30' windows and matching stone fireplace play perfectly in concert with the glimmer and glow of our chandeliers. The Coach House- Our refurbished 200-year-old barn is nothing short of magnificent for your next event. So happy they have reopened the restaurant. The brunch was excellent. Very good food, lots of choices and impeccable service.

Hadn’t been here since before Covid. When I heard they’d opened back up for dinner I was excited to try it again as it had been excellent before. Something has changed. Still has a great ambiance, but the food has really gone down hill. The service was incredibly slow and the steaks and apps left a lot to be desired. Most of our food arrived cold. It also took a half hour to be seated in a table that we saw had been open the entire time we sat at the bar. To be seated half hour late for a table we’d reserved was maddening. Really hope something changes, as previously, it was a gem

Great food, service & ambiance. I was particularly impressed with the delicious soufflés accompanied by the use of a French Press. The Press always made the best 4 cups of coffee, you can pour as much as you want, it’s always hot and you don’t have to ask the waiter for a refill. Why don’t other restaurants use it? And the soufflés that went with it were light and delicious. Why don’t other restaurants make soufflés too? In any case, a wonderful evening!

The Ryland Inn is a beautiful establishment and my husband and I were excited that it reopened for dinner. We started off our meal ordering to Hendricks dirty martinis. When the server delivered our drinks we noticed they did not appear “dirty”. We mentioned to server and after a bit of time she returned and asked if we wanted brine to add to our drink or have her take the drinks back so bartender can add the brine. We thought that was a bit weird. We should have been given new drinks. We decided to just keep the martinis we had. After another long time, server returned to take our order. Food took a bit to come but food was all delicious. Again we waited for server to take our dessert and coffee order at which time we mentioned that we hoped it wouldn’t take so long to get. We did wait. Again dessert was delicious. When we received our dessert we asked for check as well. When check came there were two $6 charges which had no description other than bar. We questioned the charges, manager came over to explained that one of the $6 charge was an error but other $6 charge was for “martini” up charge. Not really sure what that was for as the line item for our drink said “Henricks martini”. Regardless we paid the bill as was, as after 2.5 hours we were looking forward to going home. Food was delicious but service let much to be desired.

Tavern is beautiful. Dinner was very good, great burger and seafood stew. Starter salad was large enough to share. Service was helpful and attentive. Nice selection of wine by the glass. Espresso Martini was outstanding! Look forward to going back!

It was our first time back at The Ryland Inn since booking our wedding date. It made us that much more excited for our day and we will definitely be back at the restaurant for date nights! I wanted to acknowledge how great our waitress Daniella was! She was so friendly, attentive and made our dining experience so special.
