Curated by Aaron Taylor, Atlas Restaurant Group’s Corporate Chef & Chef Partner in this concept, the menu puts steak in the spotlight with over 11 cuts from Chicago-based meat purveyor Meats by Linz. The Ruxton will serve a mix of wet and dry aged prime cuts of Black Angus Beef, as well as dry aging Long Island Duck and Bison from Virginia’s New Frontier Farm in-house. To complement the steak options, seasonal shellfish and seafood entrees will be available including dover sole, Maryland rockfish, whole live lobster, king salmon, Chilean sea bass and more.
The Ruxton will serve lunch every weekday and dinner 7 days a week. Be sure to visit Atlas’ new world-class cocktail bar and lounge next door to The Ruxton called Order of the Ace.

The food and service were simply incredible. The menu was priced perfectly. Our wait-staff were Wendy and Jordan; they were very attentive considering how busy it was. We will definitely be back again!

2days before our reservation (that was made several weeks prior for a special occasion) the time was changed to from 6:45 to 7:30 without contacting us ahead of time. After arriving on time we had to wait 50 min for the table. We were just about to walk out when our table was finally ready. We were told each time we asked how much longer the thought it would be that the wait was because 3 other tables were done but hadn’t left yet. The “shareable” appetizers were barely large enough for 1. The Caesar salad was made with old brown lettuce. We were a group of 6 and 3 steaks were over cooked, another persons lamb chops we inedible and had to be sent back. It was an extremely expensive mistake! The only saving grace is the our server was outstanding! Not the folks at the front, they were quite rude all who entered. Only the waitstaff deserve praise.

We had such an amazing time at The Ruxton. We were immediately welcomed in met with world class hospitality. The ambiance is unmatched-warm and inviting, their whiskey and scotch and scotch collection is incredible (we loved the Glendronach 18). The staff ran like a well-oiled machine, all working together to help each other out on a busy Saturday night. We want to give special shoutouts to Chris for running his staff in an amazing way, to Taylor our server who was so busy but didn’t even show it and slayed in her job. To Stephanie who stopped by to talk whiskey with us and makes sure we were doing okay. To Jennifer, who was absolutely hustling behind the scenes filling glasses, clearing dishes and backing up her team. You all treated us like family and made our dining experience one to remember and we are so grateful.

The Ruxton is a lovely upscale restaurant, food was delicious and of course the steaks were cooked perfectly. My biggest gripe was that it took 45 minutes for my party of 4 to be seated, even with a reservation. Yes it was a busy Saturday night but for a restaurant that holds itself to such a high standard, there should be no waiting for a table that is reserved, clearly they maybe book too many reservations a night… I’ve never had this issue at the capital grille where I’ve had to wait 5 minutes tops. Overall, nice ambience and food was great but be prepared to wait for your table.

From the time the valet opened the door to management personally greeting you, it could not have been a more perfect setting, dinner and experience for my wife’s birthday. Well done!

Food was mouth watering and delicious from the appetizers to the desserts. Service was polite, fast, and efficient. Definitely will be back!

Everything was amazing but I was really not impressed at all with the rack of lamb, the quality was not good at all. could hardly cut it. didn’t expect that from such a high-end restaurant.
