We were seated right away but it took a while for the waiter to come over. I ordered a club soda and my husband ordered a beer. He came back a few minutes later to say they were out of club soda but could bring me a San pelligrino for $4.00. I asked him if they had soda water in the gun at the bar and he had no idea what I was talking about. After explaining it to him he did bring that. Asked about market price for a lobster appetizer and he didn't know. When he came back to take our order we asked again about the market price and he admitted he forgot and turned to go find out but we stopped him and ordered something else. Portions were good and the food was good but not great. The meal was 25% more expensive than what we usually spend. We were charged $4.00 for the club soda. There are better restaurants in the area for the money.

We always enjoy the great service and the great food we get at the Rutledge. Jacob waited on us last night and was always right on time with food and drinks. For a change, I had the rotisserie chicken and mashed sweet potatoes, as I had done once before. The food was seasoned perfectly and could not have been better. We had a very enjoyable evening.

First visit for father days lunch. Was disappointed that menu was limited-my dad asked for spinach dip for father day and they would not/could not serve appetizers. Disappointing. Food- good not great. Felt it was high for what we had-two drinks, two sandwiches- $60. Cheeseburger was good, the french dip was very fatty but had a great flavor. We just prefer lean meat. Clean and crisp decor. Music was annoying- "club- ish". My father has hearing issues and it was hard for him to hear conversation above the music. Server did well. Lots of places to spend this dollar and probably won't be back.

My experience was Ok, Our Mahi Tacos were dry and the side of Brussels sprouts were not cooked right. But the service and atmosphere were Good. Our drinks were outstanding!

If you’re looking for good food but terrible service, you’ve found it. Our waiter was slow and inattentive all night. It took 15 minutes to get our drinks, and another 10 minutes (and multiple requests) for lemons (which we requested with the initial order). I ordered a filet, which came to the table with a demi-glacé (the menu did not mention any topping). I asked the waiter if the glacé had mushrooms because of a severe food allergy. His response: “I don’t think so.” I asked him to confirm because of the potential consequences. He returned a few minutes later and said there were no mushrooms in the sauce. As I cut into my steak, a manager rushed to the table and said, “There are mushrooms in it.” The manager repeatedly joked, “I’m glad we caught it.” I explained I had gone into anaphylactic shock because of an allergy; it’s not funny. Twenty minutes later, the manager returned with my food. No apology; nothing was comped. Again, good food, but horrendous service that could’ve ended with a trip to the ER.

Great food, Great service, and a great atmosphere. IMO the cost of the drinks were pretty high.
