Partners and long-time friends, Ryan Hines and Jay Kulas believe that the most important moments in life are about building relationships and usually involve a great meal. Maintaining a friendship for over fifteen years, the two shared a common approach when it came to opening a restaurant - to create a warm and comfortable atmosphere for friends and family to gather, curate experiences and build meaningful connections.

Stripping away the formalities of the typical dining experience, The Rustic Spoon is serving up breakfast, brunch and lunch while focusing on quality local ingredients, family recipes, warm service and a relaxed causal ambiance. Excellent! The goat cheese balls are so delicious! We also had bang bang shrimp and sea crab soup and they were awesome!

My wife, daughter and myself came here for the occasional weekend brunch. Nice restaurant with a chill aesthetic. Not too pricey and food was way above average (Amazing)

Lovely brunch with family from out of town. Restaurant Week menus was a success. Corn chowder was outstanding. Shrimp & grit cake was superb, as always. Cheerful greetings from staff, requested seats for reservation, excellent service, and all needs met.

The food was delicious. Our server Kim was wonderful! We enjoyed our entrees. The hostesses were very welcoming.

I was able to get a reservation for 1 via open table without a problem. Upon arriving to my reservation set for 730pm. I was greeted and sat right away. My server quickly came to take my order. I tried one of the menu items for restaurant week. My server gave me a good recommendation based on the two dishes I had in mind. Overall the food was delicious. Just wished i would’ve gotten a little more pasta & sauce be a little thicker.

We were seated on the fireplace side. I believe a bit more creativity on the walls would benefit that area. We were seated next to a window and could feel a cold draft. The patrons were on the chatty side, so it was a bit noisy, however, the food was outstanding & the waiter was very attentive and polite.
