                                      always a great meal and service at the rum runner. we were a party of 5 and everyone said their meal was delicious. we’ve been to the rum runner numerous times and it never disappoints.

                                      EXCELLENT SERVICE. Food choices were diverse.. something for everyone. Glad to be back on the Jersey shore for terrific food.

                                      I was extremely disappointed with this place. The service was terrible. We got there and the valet parking was a mess. We waited probably 15 minutes for someone to get the keys of our car. We had an 8 pm reservation and they kept us waiting for 20 minutes before getting a table, which it may have been understandable because it was a Saturday. After we were given a table, almost 30 minutes had passed before a waiter came to introduce himself and take our order. At this point we didn’t even had water, which btw took another 10 minutes. Then another 30 minutes to get our food and in between the waiter came to us to complain about how overwhelm he was. Everybody kept talking over each other and the ambient was extremely loud. The food was not terrible but everything else was, therefore we won’t be dining at this place never again.

                                      It’s unfortunate that this restaurant NEVER honors reservations. 45 mins after reservation time I approached a manager. He apologized and looked into our reservation. He finally got us seated after 8pm. Our reservation was 7:15. Apps were fine no issues. Bread is a charge now. Daughter’s took one bite of her scallop dinner and spit it out. She said it tasted like rubbing alcohol. I had a seafood dish with scallops as well so we informed the waitress. The same manager came back and offered us new meals, we declined. He took the two meals off the bill and apologized again. He offered us two desserts. We only took one home. We love the view here and been coming for years but they take way too many reservations and don’t honor them. The food has gone down hill and staff is definitely overworked. We will not be returning… sadly

                                      Tyler gave us excellent service. The food was so tasty and the venue location can’t be beat (gorgeous day, gorgeous view)!

                                      Food was ho hum. Sent back one clam appetizer Calamari was edible but limp ,delicious peppers. Location was great. The cod was overcooked, dry but edible.Nice view from table. Service was average. Don't expect to return. Didn't hold a candle to the McClunes Robinson's Ale House.

                                      Absolutely beautiful location, views can't be beat. I wish the food were better! It's not bad, it's just not. . . good. Other McLoone's locations are better food-wise, but I still like coming to Rum Runner for the beauty of it. Our waitress was very friendly. It was a nice night out.
