As first timers at The Rum Fox we had high expectations from what we had read and it didn’t disappoint. All of us said that we would like to go back again. The food was delicious, not too pricey for the quality and the staff were lovely. The decor is tasteful and in keeping with the age of the place. Nicely situated and easy to get to. Would highly recommend!

The food is good, the staff exceptional, but THE MUSIC! Endless I don't know what, 70s disco? a cross between 'Shaft' and 'YMCA' And it never stops. Am put off going again and wouldn't recommend because of this. Please make it stop or change to something more in keeping.

This was the first time at the Rum Fox and we would definitely visit again. Service was quick, good choice on menu either choice of individual items or a set menu or 2 or 3 courses so plenty to choose from. Accommodating to some requested changes to selected item (there was a mussel sauce and I do not like mussels so a garlic sauce was offered, which was lovely). Food was excellently presented, good quality and really tasty. Staff lovely.

Amazing as always! We are never disappointed when we come here, we absolutely love the Sunday roast it’s 10/10 everytime and the staff are always so lovely and attentive. Thanks guys!

Both starters was of a standard we expected. Both mains were very average pub food. Pudding was fine.
