The food was excellent although the menu was limited. We started with warm olives and Royal Bread. Our mains were the 'Nduja Pizza and Royal Burger. The pizza was a tad soggy, but tasted great. The burger was cooked to order and was delicious. The cannoli's were perfect. Superb wine list and knowledgable staff. The terrace was delightful, well shaded, nice breeze. Our waiter had the perfect balance of attentiveness. Never hovering. We will definitely be back. Thank you to the staff for a delightful experience.

We had a wonderful evening, but I found my hanger steak to be tough. I have had this dish previously and always found it melt in the mouth good. I did not mention it at the time as I was not the one paying for it. Otherwise the service was A1.

Dont come with kids we were to sit on terrace kid friendly. At dinner he no thankyou. Husbands steak sub par my gluten free pasta with lamb good.. Tres expensive serving sizes on small side..if yugo get the burger..overall we wont return

Always an enjoyable experience at the Royal. This time we chose to sit at the bar for a quick salad & pizza prior to the theatre. Un to watch the very competent & busy staff!

The dining terrace, hotel lobby and reception area are all tastefully and beautifully furnished. A lot of terra cotta coloured and textured in the terrace. The two course meal was outstanding. Will come back again.

Excellent food! They were extremely busy so considering this, the service was still very good. It has a very hip vibe. This is a gem in Picton.

Met friends at the Royal for dinner. Ended up seated in the front bar/cafe area. Not what I had expected.

The food was the pinnacle of the experience. Fresh ingredients and amazing flavour combinations highlight the pasta plate I ordered. Easily in the top ten of all culinary experiences I’ve had in my short 50 years on this earth.
