Absolutely excellent. We all had different meals and all said how tasty they all were. Good waiter service with witty banter that added to the excellent summer afternoon feel to the beer garden ambience.

The service was quick, friendly and efficient. The menu selection was well balanced and interesting with lots of choice without being overwhelming. Everything that was served was well presented and tasted great. I had the venison meatballs. My only criticism would be there was not enough gorgonzola to make an impact. Apart from that, a very pleasant experience.

Service was great, but unfortunately the meal was not up to standard, couldnt eat the gammon steak for lots of grissle certainly was not worth the price tag! Would not recommend to friends & family unfortunately.

Excellent Sunday Lunch - well presented and very tasty. Staff were very friendly and efficient.

Lovely lunch at the Royal. The ambience is lovely and the food is excellent The waiters were friendly and helpful and our food was served with just the right amount of rest time between courses. Definitely recommend
