Welcome to The Rose Inn
The Rose Inn is located in the beautiful rural area of North Warwickshire in the village of Baxterley with stunning views over Leicestershire, Birmingham and on
into the far distance.

The Rose sits opposite the site of the old Baddesley colliery, behind the village green and duck pond with an orchard and large relaxing area overlooking the pond.

Originally believed to be a 'Gentleman's residence', the building dates back to the 18th century and has served as a courthouse, jail, mortuary and for more than a hundred years as a public house.

The best food ever tasted we were visiting and I would gladly drive the 3 hrs to come back and eat here again the food was stunning

Lovely but a help yourself carvery would have been much nicer than a plated roast dinner, with added cost for sides of cauliflower cheese etc.

Our last visit must have been pre covid, visited on Saturday afternoon & booked online which was really easy. The service was superb & attentive. The drinks choice is excellent. Food was beautiful, well presented/seasoned. A real gem that will become a favourite place. 👌

Just the most amazing roast ever. Lovely friendly staff. Was a bit chilly in restaurant on arrival but soon warmed up as the restaurant fillled.

The service was very quick, the staff were polite and they were brilliant with some special requests we made. The food was delicious. The puddings were a highlight. Then the setting is awesome too. Take a drink outside and sit by the pond with the ducks running around. Overall brilliant

Perfect meal as always. Staff are always polite and you can have a laugh with them.

In For Sunday Dinner . Quickly Booked & Chose Usual Preferred Table . Fantastic Meal As Per Usual ... Fully Satisfied & Home In An Hour ( which is what I wanted ) . You Only Get What You Pay for - For A Top Quality Meal It Is A Fair Cost . Can Easily Recommend .

The Prawn starter consisted of 5 prawns for £9.00 very disappointing. The Asparagus starter was small and taseless. The Sirloin steak consisted of the Steak, some Chips, one mushroom and half a Tomatoe. Again a disappointing sized portion. The Trio of Pork was just Pork and Sauce ,we had to ask for some vegetables The food was very salty.
