Welcome to The Rose Inn
The Rose Inn is located in the beautiful rural area of North Warwickshire in the village of Baxterley with stunning views over Leicestershire, Birmingham and on
into the far distance.

The Rose sits opposite the site of the old Baddesley colliery, behind the village green and duck pond with an orchard and large relaxing area overlooking the pond.

Originally believed to be a 'Gentleman's residence', the building dates back to the 18th century and has served as a courthouse, jail, mortuary and for more than a hundred years as a public house.

Thought the pub setting, service & food was spot on, only slight niggle is that when we arrived, it wasn’t obvious where we were meant to go, it was very busy & there didn’t seem to be anyone to ask - apart from that, was a top class Sunday lunch 🐽

Fantastic place for food. Sunday dinner here outstanding. And the outdoor section is lovely.

This is the best Sunday dinner I have had in a long while. I was surprised I had to pay extra for stuffing with my turkey but apart from that the meal was amazing

We have been many times for their Sunday dinner they are amazing. Veg and Yorkshire puddings homemade . meat is always delicious and plenty of it . Highly recommend and will definitely be back . Keep up the good work

Great meal generally however the fruit on the pudding tasted of onion, mustard have been cut with the wrong knife. When we told this to the waiter there was no apology for the mistake, we were told it must have been the strawberries as it couldn’t possibly be due to the knife being picked up by mistake!

Nice food but small portions. We had 3 small roast potatoes each, would have made one and a half in total. There were lovely vegetables and a nice selection, but just not enough there was only one small piece of broccoli between the two of us and maybe one carrot. I don’t drink beer but my husband does and had two different pints, he said they both tasted the same and was awful, so maybe that’s where they could improve.
