Welcome to The Rose Inn
The Rose Inn is located in the beautiful rural area of North Warwickshire in the village of Baxterley with stunning views over Leicestershire, Birmingham and on
into the far distance.

The Rose sits opposite the site of the old Baddesley colliery, behind the village green and duck pond with an orchard and large relaxing area overlooking the pond.

Originally believed to be a 'Gentleman's residence', the building dates back to the 18th century and has served as a courthouse, jail, mortuary and for more than a hundred years as a public house.

Set Sunday lunch plated roast with veg. Additional sides usually available. Lovely pub / restaurant. Can imagine a nice pint of Bass by Duck pond in Summer too. Enjoyable visit.

Service was great, food was delicious and plenty of it, would definitely recommend and will definitely be coming again

The overall appearance of the The Rose Inn is poor, very dated and looked dirty. Food was good but it was clear that some aspects were microwaved to heat up. Menu was limited and not what is on the initial website when we viewed, so was disappointed in the menu. Once going onto the main website you could see new menu, but if you just drop down menu on Google page, the menu is incorrect, which is the one we viewed and expected.

Food was nice for some of us. Personally I had a falafel burger which was nice but lacked salad etc in the bun, it was just a burger in a bun with chips and onion rings which is actually what I ordered but it needed some lettuce or some sort of salad to make it more healthy and appetising. The food was nice just wished I’d had something healthier.

Just amazing food .Great staff and lovely atmosphere. Only grip today was my knife was a little blunt!! Normally have steak knife but not today.
