Sunday lunch is absolutely superb! Three excellent courses, all cooked to perfection. Food quality is wonderful, quantise are excellent and always extremely well presented A most enjoyable experience made even better by the superb customer service of Kasia and her team.

We had a lovely 3 course Sunday lunch great service and food was delicious, good choice on the menu also

Amazing food, amazing service. Cooked to perfection everything fresh and hot. Beautiful choice of all courses. My favourite place to go for Sunday lunch the whole family loved it

I won a voucher to eat at the Rose and Crown, I asked when we arrived if I could use this voucher and showed it to the member of staff before seating us, we were told to present it before the bill, the service and food was lovely, there was 4 of us and we were having a catch up as we had all been very busy of late. We asked for the bill and presented the voucher, the manageress came over to talk with us, she told us that it was a photo copy of an original voucher, she had a little book with her and could not find the original although each voucher had a number on it she said that was irrelevant. I was upset because I presented the voucher on arrival and we were allowed to eat and we're then told we couldn't use it, after all the embarrassment we were allowed to use it but we had to leave all our details, I will never eat there again and I am in contact with the lady who organized the raffle, I bought those tickets in good faith, the moral of the story is to get someone to check the voucher with a manager before ordering

Superb Sunday dinners - excellent quality and quantity. Good presentation also excellent. Kasia is superb as front of house and so welcoming and organised.

Been for Sunday lunch at the rose and crown before and it was absolutely delicious. Sadly our visit yesterday wasn’t as good, the food wasn’t as good and came out within minutes of ordering. We were put on a large table in the middle of the room surrounded by larger, nosier tables despite only being 2 of us and there was smaller tables around the edge. What was really lacking was the service though. A lot of staff on shift yet after our mains we were asked if we wanted to see the dessert menu to which we said yes, but were then left waiting for around 40 minutes before we had to ask to see the menu. Then when our puddings were brought out we weren’t given cutlery and again had to wait and ask for spoons. Even though it was quiet by this time. Staff had a ‘can’t be bothered’ type of vibe - like serving us was a hassle. However the food was okay, and good value for money!
