Great view. That's it!!! Food was overpriced and mediocre at best. Charged an extra dollar for olives in my martini and $5 for a teaspoon of olive juice for a dirty martini. Give me a break!!!!

We love going to The Rooftop, but ever since JG left, the food has not been as good. Salmon has always been my favorite, but is just not at the level of expectations. We still go because the drinks are great! Incredible atmosphere and service staff from waiter assistants to main waiter is still superb!!

I have eaten at the Rooftop two previous times with friends and it was wonderful. My husband and I were visiting again from out of state having just moved our two oldest in to college and we had our 12 year old with us, but it was our 30th wedding anniversary and we were staying at the Waldorf so I decided to make a reservation there to celebrate. We noted this at the Waldorf, on Open Table, and I mentioned it to the host. The restaurant did not acknowledge our special occasion in any way, in fact, we were first seated right inside the entrance (major walkway on both sides of our table) directly in front of an incredibly loud DJ table. (This was a Sunday evening). We asked to be moved to a table that would be a little more special and easier to hear one another. They moved us to a nice table but then we were literally ignored for the rest of the evening. We saw our waiter a total of 3 times and he had the bare minimum interaction with us. We weren't greeted for an incredibly long time, our order took a long time and 2 different people other than our waiter delivered our meal which was incorrect and then we didn't even see him when we paid our $300.00 bill--my husband ended up walking it up to the host stand because he never came back. No happy anniversary, nothing special to mark the occasion, not even a goodbye. We have never felt so ignored at a restaurant and had such poor service. If you want to mark a special occasion, look elsewhere.

I needed to work on my laptop and they told me I had to order an entree, but when my friend canceled, I didn’t want to order more than apps. So was kind of awkward because I didn’t want to eat an entree alone. But the wait staff is always SUPER nice and friendly here. The green goddess martini is my favorite and the octopus is so good!

The whole package was excellent and reasonably priced for the location and quality of food. Even the music played by a live DJ was superb.

Great food and the server was great. We went on Sunday night and sat with an amazing view of the city. There was also a DJ spinning some tunes. Ordered two cocktails, both strong!!
