We’re welcoming families and friends to gather, dine and celebrate as we serve Thanksgiving Dinner once again at Pelham House Resort, here in Dennis Port. Guests are invited to attend an exclusive Rooftop cocktail hour featuring hand-rolled sushi and our specialty raw bar boat. Followed by an expansive grand buffet served in our Sea Level ballroom, both overlooking Nantucket Sound. It is a wonderful atmosphere to eat by the sea with the windows open. But when some of the heaters aren’t working and the windows are opened wide at 8:00 PM, it really makes it chilly. And we had jackets on. Best chowder we’ve had on the island. Everything about the scallop main dish was mild in flavour - too mild for my palette. The pork chop was cooked perfectly and wonderful accompaniments.

This was an A Plus meal! The portions were plentiful. (We read they were small - NOT TRUE). The calamari was the best we have had on the cape. All food was deliciously prepared. They served us free champagne for our anniversary. The view is spectacular. We had some of the most amazing service. And while not inexpensive, prices seemed less than other upscale locations we have been.

It was another fantastic for our out of town guests!! Windows were open, and weather was spectacular as well! Views ere outstanding. Food was awesome as well.

The setting can’t be beat. We were lucky enough to be seated near open windows; view was spectacular and noise level a little less. We were dining with friends with both couples celebrating anniversaries of many years. From the greeting by the host, to the glasses of champagne provided, to the “Happy Anniversary” written on the dessert plates, and with the stellar service by the very personable Sadie, The Rooftop at Pelham House , provided us with a special evening.

We went for much on 9/11/24. Right off the top , the view and the service was fabulous. I had a Crop Tops & Flip Flops martini ( cucumber and elderberry with basil if I can remember correctly) . It was excellent. My husband had a Bullet Rye Manhattan. Their martini glasses were on the small side , but the cost of $22 for one and $23 for another ( with $3 up charge for Bullet Rye, which is standard bar liquor. Drinks are very high. Don’t mind the high price if it was served in a real martini glass. We had two cups of chowder at $8 each and it was definitely flavorful. I had the spicy grilled chicken that was tasty, but not spicy at all My husband had the meatball grilled cheese sandwich. This was very interesting and flavorful. Both sandwiches were in the low $20. My husband and I eat out at least once a week and enjoy seeking new places. All in all, the meal was good, but on the high side. Service and view was excellent. Definitely paying for. Ire. Total was over $100 for two before tax. It is a vacation area with definitely vacation high prices , especially drinks. We are within driving distance, but because of the high prices( lunch) , we will not make it a regular stop.

Loud, but the view was worth it. Went for our anniversary and were expecting a little special treatment as most places do, but nothing. Was able to order my preferred cocktail which isn’t readily available at most places. Food was good, but nothing extraordinary. Would go again for the location alone and chic interior.

An absolutely stunning setting. Service top notch. Food was good. Not incredible. Would go back just for view. Also very accommodating for dietary sensitivities.
